Some Of My All-Time Favorite Products: Products and Reviews

Products in order of appearance:

Simply Shampoo and Conditioner (Volumizing)

I LOVE this product.  It is a Paraben and Sulfate free product which are super good for your hair.  Other products I have tried that are Paraben and Sulfate free have made my hair feel sooooo nasty!  Almost like there is a film of oil in your hair.  I realize this is actually healthier for you hair because it is using the natural oils from your hair; however, is there an affordable, drugstore product that is good for your hair yet does not make it feel yuckie??? YES THERE IS....Simply.  It makes my hair so soft and silky and it really feels much healthier.  Also, after going through my first bottle, it seems to be repairing the ends of my hair.  I kept getting really bad split ends even right after a haircut.  I started using Simply about a month and a half ago and miraculously, my split ends are essentially gone!  The product does not claim to be a split end helper, but it must be a secret agent shampoo or something because it does!

I have the 'Volumizing' kind but the brand also has 'Color Protective' and  'Moisturizing'.  The large pump bottles are $5.99 each.  They also have smaller bottles for $3.99 each, so if you want to try it out before buying the huge bottles, you could get the smaller ones.  I would recommend this product to anyone because I love it that much!

got 2b Thickening Plumping Mousse

This is another product I have been using and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!  I am always looking for a good volume boosting product.  Many of them cause a greasy film or make your hair sticky, but this one does not!  It is great for everyday use because it does not add any weight to your hair.  I know my hair is 'poofed' in this video but this product creates volume even without teasing or back combing.  It comes out in a foamy consistency.  I put about a palm sized amount in my hand and work it through my damp hair.  I then blow-dry.  To create extra volume, I blow-dry with my head flipped upside down until my hair is about 75% dry.  I then flip my head to normal and blow-dry my hair in the opposite direction of my part.  I also do this for the crown of my head where I will tease my hair.  This creates more volume for all areas of your hair.

This product is at most drugstores and costs $5.99 per bottle.

Salon Grafix Shaping Hair Spray
I buy this product in the number 9 super hold.  There are different levels of hold.  The 9 is a fairly strong hold, so if you do not like a strong hold, I would suggest going down to maybe a 5 or 6.  WARNING: For some reason, there is a huge difference between the 9 and the 10 hold.  The 9 hold is a good, strong hold that is not sticky.  The 10 hold makes your hair very sticky and even has a white film to it that is left in your hair.  I do not know why the difference is so great, but I do like the 9 hold.  It is perfect to maintain volume but not make the hair stiff or sticky.

This is sold at most drugstores and costs $4.99-6.99.  I have seen it for different prices depending on where you get it.  It is on sale at Walgreens quite often so try there! : )

Wet N Wild Walking on Eggshells palette

I cannot say enough good things about this palette.  It has such great pigmentation and is long-lasting.  Add a little primer to your eyelids before applying the shadow and it is even better!  This palette creates such a natural, yet stand-out look.  The only downside I have found is the bad fall-out of the product.  A little trick: Apply a layer of loose powder under your eye before applying the shadow then after the shadow is applied, take a blush brush and swipe it underneath your eyes.  This removes fallout very well and does not leave the color of the shadow under your eyes like you can get if you do it with your finger or something.  I did do an eye shadow tutorial for this palette and I will place the like below.

This product can be found at most drugstores and it is soooo inexpensive!!! They are $2.99 for the 3 color palettes and their 8 color palettes (which I also love) are $4.99.  Try them out!  You wont regret it!!!

Almay Truly Lasting Color liquid foundation
This is my favorite foundation I have ever found thus far in my life.  It has such a great consistency, not to thick but great coverage.  I would say on most days this foundation has a 10 hour lasting coverage.  My skin matches their BEIGE color, so that may be a reference point.  It also has SPF 15, and has never caused my skin to breakout or any weird thing like that!

This product can be found at most drugstores for around $12-14.

Maybelline Eyestudio Blackest Black  liquid eyeliner pot
I love this liner.  If you are looking for a very black, dark eyeliner (which I love and use) this is a great product for you!  It does take a little extra effort to use an eyeliner pot because you actually have to apply it with a brush instead of a basic pencil, but in my opinion, it is worth it!  It does come with an eyeliner brush; I am not a big fan of this brush.  I use my own liner brush instead.  A big problem with liquid eyeliner pots is they tend to dry out quickly, but so far, this product has not dried out at all.  The packaging is well designed and air tight so it has not had any dryness to it.

This product can be found at most drugstores and costs $7.99.

Femme Couture Lip Luster color Berries n Creme
I LOVE THIS LIP GLOSS!  I think, for me, it is so hard to find a good lip gloss that has everything you want in a lip gloss.  I want a good color, consistency, long-lasting, sticky but not too sticky...yes I know I ask a lot!  Well, I found all of these things in this lip gloss.  It is my favorite lip product right now!  I also love the color (kind of a baby pink).  It has a great finish and a perfect gloss.

This can be found only at beauty supply stores.  I found mine at Sally's Beauty Supply for $6.99.

CND super shiny top coat
Favorite nail product of my life.  This will correct any imperfections after painting your nails and makes your manicure last for a long time.  I use it literally every time I paint my nails.  It is also great because a little bit goes a long way...I have had the bottle in the video for over a year and have not used much, even though I use it all the time!! It also has not dried out or crusted over at all.

You can only find this brand at beauty supply stores.  I am not sure if they have it at Sally's Beauty Supply, but my stylist got it from Peels for I believe around $15.  They also have smaller bottles of this product.

OK! So these are my favorite products right now!  I do have several other products I use almost daily but these are my go-to products!  I hope you liked this post! YAY!
